Q: I cannot see the Coursera invite in my email. What should I do?
Answer:
If you cannot find your Coursera invitation email, it may have been filtered or sent to a different email address.
What you need to do:
- Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder
- Search your inbox for emails from Coursera
- Make sure you are checking the same email address you registered with MMDC
Q: What email should I use to log in to Coursera?
Answer:
You must use the same email address where your Coursera invitation was sent by MMDC to access your course on Coursera.
What you need to do:
- Log in using your registered MMDC email address
- Use the same login method you used when accepting the invite
Important notes:
- Using a different email will not show your enrolled courses
Q: I have not started anything yet, but I already see a Coursera certificate. Why?
Answer:
This usually happens when you open only one course within a larger program on Coursera. The course you accessed may be the final course in the program, which already shows a certificate view.
What you need to do:
- Exit the current course you opened
- Go back to the main program page (Professional Certificate overview)
- From there, access the full list of courses/modules in the correct order
Important notes:
- MMDC certifications are made up of multiple courses, not just one
- You must complete all required courses in the program to earn the correct certificate
- Starting in the last course may make it appear like you already completed the program, even if you have not
Q: Where can I find my Coursera certificate?
Answer:
You can view and download your certificates in your Coursera account under the Accomplishments section.
What you need to do:
- Log in to your Coursera account
- Click your profile name (top-right corner)
- Select “Accomplishments” from the dropdown menu
- Find your completed course or program and click “View Certificate”
Important notes:
- Certificates will only appear after you complete all required modules and assessments
- You may need to click “Verify ID” before your certificate becomes available for sharing
- You might be asked to upload a valid ID for identity verification
- Once verified, your certificates will be visible and downloadable
Q: I get an error message when logging in to Coursera. What should I do?
Answer:
Login errors on Coursera are usually caused by incorrect login details, account mismatch, or browser-related issues.
What you need to do:
- Make sure you are using the correct email address (the one registered with MMDC)
- Try clicking “Forgot Password” to reset your password
- Ensure you are logging in using the correct method (e.g., Google login vs. email/password)
- Clear your browser cache or try a different browser or device
Additional checks:
- Make sure your internet connection is stable
- Check if Coursera is accessible from your network (no restrictions or blocks)
Important notes:
- Using a different email or login method may prevent access to your enrolled courses
- If your account was invited through MMDC, you must use the same email address used in the invitation
Q: Why is my progress not updating in Coursera?
Answer:
Your progress on Coursera may not update immediately if a required activity has not been fully completed or submitted.
What you need to do:
- Make sure you complete all parts of the lesson, including videos, readings, and quizzes
- Check if there is a “Mark as complete” button and click it (if available)
- Ensure all quizzes, assignments, or peer reviews are submitted
- Refresh the page or log out and log back in
Additional checks:
- Confirm that your quiz or assignment was successfully submitted
- Check your internet connection while completing activities
- Try accessing the course using a different browser or device
Important notes:
- Some activities (like peer-reviewed assignments) may take time before progress is updated
- Skipping required steps in a module may prevent completion from being recorded
- Progress tracking is based on completed, graded, and required items, not just viewing content
- Plan your schedule to complete all required modules before the given timeframe
Q: How long do I have access to my Coursera course?
Answer:
Access to your course on Coursera is usually limited based on your enrollment or subscription period.
